THE NEW NORMAL

     What is COVID-19? According to the World Health Organization, Coronavirus disease or commonly known as the COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered Coronavirus. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic it affected educational systems not only here in the Philippines but world-wide, leading to the near- total closures of Schools, universities, and colleges.

        Educational systems of method before the pandemic is way much easier, but due to this COVID-19 pandemic it is more challenging to study because of the use of gadgets like cellphones, laptops, computer, and most importantly the Wi-Fi connection. The Wi-Fi connection is really important to the New educational system or we called it here as the new normal because when you don't have a Wi-Fi connection you can not attend to your online classes. The Educational method that is being used during this pandemic is not preferable to many students and teachers because, Most of the students cannot afford to buy a cellphone and a Wi-Fi connection due to poverty to attend their Online classes, but there's a other option which is modular learning but modular learning is still not preferable to me because without the guide of the internet the lessons and other terms would be hard to understand. And most of the teachers here in the Philippines are old and they have a limited knowledge on how the latest technology works but they are trying their best on understanding how the new technology works. That is the reason why the new educational system here in our country is too challenging to us both student, teachers, and lastly our parents because, our parents act like our 2nd teachers in our homes.

        This Educational System During this pandemic is too Harsh, because there is too many activities that are required to be passed on time, and that leads to other students to commit suicide because of pressure, fatigue, and Stress. Due to this New normal the knowledge that we are gaining from our modules is limited. And if I would be given a chance to become the Secretary of the Department of Education, I would suggest Academic Freeze because, A lot of students, teachers, and parents are pressured and tired due to this new normal. We Should wait until the vaccine is released and that is the perfect time to resume the classes.
