       Rivers play a vital role in shaping the country's economy, In ancient times particularly the rivers around Metro Manila which served as a gateway of barters within and outside the Philippines.

        As the time passes by, rivers and it's natural resources turned into human waste, garbages and chemicals from different human activities. Your administration was able to give priority to the rehabilitation of rivers including the Manila Bay. Positive changes were evident through the collaborative efforts of the Government the Non- Government and the people of Manila.

     As a catalyst of environmental activities, I would like to command these remarkable programs implemented by your administration. These programs would make a great impact not only to us, the present generation but also to the posterity

        Please continue your good governance for this would lead the Philippines to a more developed country and it will give back the glory it had once during the early times.
